Baltimore Area Council Wood Badge Training Courses
As an adult volunteer, I staff an annual training program that provides an immersive experience for other adult volunteers to learn the fundamentals of scouting, leadership, diversity, and youth development.
Assistant Dean of DEI, University of Scouting
The University of Scouting is a one-day, yearly training conference. As Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, I have created a full day curriculum of courses related to basic DEI principles geared towards scouters. The goal is to allow adult volunteers to gain a baseline of understanding in DEI. This is the first of its kind for the Baltimore Area Council and National Area Territory 12.
Museum Leadership Training
I have a passion for leadership training. In my role at the Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs I have created several trainings for internal and external professionals, and the community. As part of my work with the Delaware Museum Association, I help create informative trainings for small museum professionals. I am also an active speaker at the Small Museum Association Conference on various topics.
